Mount Agung Trekking via Pasar Agung Temple is the shorter hike to concur the biggest and the harder mountain in Bali for hunting sunrise. Trek via Pasar Agung Temple is the easier and shorter one, its take approximate 3,5 to 4 hours ascent and 3 hours descent by fit condition trekkers. The ascent concurred around 2.000 m only via this route and less steep than via Besakh Temple. The sunrise point will you reach just until the rim of the crater, it’s around 150 m bellow from the actual summit the route who hikes via Besakih Temple, the view offered from this point still amazing.
MOUNT AGUNG TREKKING VIA PASAR AGUNG TEMPLE
Once you reach the summit, your eyes will amazed by Sunrise behind of big rock, ,can see Mount Rinjani in Lombok as well, wide Caldera Batur with its volcano and lake Batur. Beside of that, you can see some city bellow of your foot such as Karangasem, Kelungkung, Gianyak and also Nusapenida, it’s about 50% of the Island. While stunning sunrise, your guide will serve your light breakfast that we provided, if you need hot drink your guide will make tea or coffee. It will keep your body warm as on the summit of Mount Agung is cold. If you not experienced hikers, we recommend you to take this route as much easier and shorter if compare to via Besakih temple.
MOUNT AGUNG VOLCANO TREKKING VIA PASAR AGUNG ITINERARY:
- 11.30 pm – 12.15 am: Pick up time from your lobby accommodation.
- 01.45 am: Arrival at the starting point then introduction to guide.
- 02.00 am: Start hike, it will take around 6 hours.
- 05.45 am: Reaching the summit, and enjoying views and having breakfast.
- 07.00 am: Exploring the summit crater and then descend.
- 10.00 am: Arrive back at finish point and the departure.
- 12.00 pm: Back to the hotel.
